King Lucius feels it is his fault that his people have been cursed to live in a bubble under the sea for so long. With the bubble cracking, they are close to finding a way to reach the surface, breathe air and not die. The King decides to do the test himself and as he succeeds, he also finds his mate thrown overboard and into his hands. He takes her down to Atlantes and things skyrocket. Love this series and all the characters. The storyline has plenty of drama, fun, surprises and romance. It all culminates here in the final book of the series. Love it and now I can reread all six together at once. Well done.
