Set aside an extremely long day and expect to be up past bedtime for this adult paranormal supernatural third book in the Realm Immortal series, set at the time of the Black Death. It works as a stand-alone or if you've forgotten most of the earlier two books, although I commend binging the series.
You will find yourself so shocked at times so be prepared for the surprises. Though not all surprises are good. Juliana has a lot to figure out and handle while Merrick has a lot to think on.
Make sure you’ve read the first two in this or you won’t get a full grasp of everything.
Michelle pillow is one of my favorite authors. Her attention to detail and quick wit keep all her books interesting. Her level of spice is just right without being so overpowering that you lose the storyline. I love her books.
