My all time favorite book by author Michelle Pillow. Amazing writer who envelopes you into her books.
I love this book. There were so many twist and turns to keep me reading all night. I wasn't going to read it at first because I normally don't like "historical " romance novels but honestly it was nothing like I thought it would be. Highly suggest reading. I just wish it was a series so I could read more.
I must admit I'm not normally a huge historical romance fan. But when giving looking at the description it said paranormal. And I adore paranormal, especially from Michelle's world.
With that said, I sobbed like a baby the last half of the book. Such suspense and sweetness, adventure, frustration, so many emotions! A must read standalone!
This is a fantastic, suspenseful read that once I picked up, that was it for the rest of the day. A well written story with a modern spin on the gothic with a plot that draws you in hook, line and sinker. A ghost story with twists and turns that will make you spin and an ending that is truly magical.
A heartbreaking, haunting beautiful story of lost loves finding each other, denying the truth, fighting evil, and discovering so much more.
